NMK to demo Xirium

MIDDLE EAST: Regional Neutrik distributor, Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK), will be offering demo sessions of the manufacturer’s new digital wireless audio network, Xirium, within the region in order to demonstrate the benefits of the first product to be based on DIWA (Digital Wireless Audio) technology.

Xirium has been launched and presented during the ongoing NMK Roadshow which begun in November in Qatar and is heading to Bahrain on 2 December 2014. Xirium is a professional multichannel wireless network designed to replace analogue audio cables in situations where it could be difficult to run a cable, but where a stable connection and audio quality are needed.

‘Demand for Xirium is extremely high. We’ve already sold three systems in the two weeks following the Middle East product launch,’ commented Pavel Aheunin, Neutrik product manager at NMK. ‘The system would be a perfect solution for cable replacement and could be used in various applications where it's not suitable to use a cable. The distance range of a Xirium X system is 500m (LOS) and it's recommended to be used for audio signal transmission at stadia, horse tracks, big concert venues, architectural sites, and museums.

‘Xirium is based on DIWA technology which combines reliability, uncompressed audio signal and is extremely easy set up,’ continued Mr Aheunin. ‘I strongly believe that Xirium will bring great benefits for audio rental companies, broadcasters and integrators. Taking into consideration the unique technical features of the product I trust it will be very popular in this region.’

NMK is expecting its first shipment of Xirium to arrive in early December.
