Nomad club opts for L-Acoustics

TURKEY: Istanbul’s new Nomad club has opened with an L-Acoustics coaxial sound system designed, supplied and installed by local distributor Elit Light&Sound Technologies. The club’s owners deemed the technical design to be a crucial factor in the new club’s success.
Elit has installed a system of four L-Acoustics 12XTi and seven 8XTi coaxial loudspeakers and four SB18 subwoofers around the club, powered by three LA4 amplified controllers.
‘At Elit Light&Sound Technologies we aim to present different and unique solutions for each project,’ said technical manager Emre Defne. ‘In the entertainment industry, audio and visuals are important factors to a venue, allowing them to offer quality and stand out from others. The sound quality of L-Acoustics products makes it easier for us to achieve this goal for our customers.
‘To support the mystical ambiance of Nomads we decided to use an L-Acoustics coaxial system, and as always we are not surprised by the feedback we’ve received. Once again, we are grateful that L-Acoustics has enabled us to satisfy our customer’s needs.’
Nomads Istanbul follows the concept of the original Amsterdam venue, serving up a combination of European and Eastern culture in both its style and cuisine, with interior decorations and tableware sourced from Morocco and Egypt. With views of the Bosporus, a bar hung with hundreds of colourful, handmade Arabic lambs and a hidden garden, Nomads is set to make a mark on Istanbul’s vibrant nightlife.
