Organiser aims for improved InfoComm MEA visibility

MEA: The organiser of InfoComm MEA has taken steps to improve the show’s visibility in the wider Gitex Technology Week exhibition it is co-located with.
Following issues with hall location and signage in 2012, the organiser is reportedly taking steps to increase brand presence onsite and facilitate visitor registration for this year’s InfoComm MEA. InfoCommAsia, regional subsidiary of InfoComm International, and co-organiser Dubai World Trade Centre announced that they are putting in place three key measures to ensure greater visibility and a sustained visitor flow for the 2013 event.
Firstly, show signage will be improved. The concourse area running along the IFMEA halls will be cleared of booths and branded with large IFMEA banners and video walls. Secondly, the physical barriers that used to separate Gitex and IFMEA will no longer be in place, providing for a free flow of traffic between the two shows. And thirdly, a second entrance into the IFMEA hall will provide unobstructed linkway between Gitex and the IFMEA, with custom carpeting welcoming Gitex visitors.
InfoComm MEA 2013’s location in the Trade Centre Arena in the World Trade Centre complex will also be publicised in pre-show promotional materials as well as all Gitex Technology Week onsite signage.
The organiser has also announced that exhibitors are returning for the third edition of the show with a larger footprint. Arthur Holm, LG, NMK, Theatro and Venuetech have all doubled their booth size from 2012. While Extron Eletcronics, Jupiter Systems, Crestron, Da-Lite Screen, DAS Audio, Mitsubishi Electric, RGB Spectrum, Sharp Middle East, Sonic Foundry, Taiden, Wavetec and WolfVision have all confirmed their participation.
There will also be a number of new manufacturers on show including Blackmagic Design, Exterity, Primascreen, Matrox, MMD Monitors & Display, R&M International, Shanghai Pallas, Shenzhen Leyard, Shenzhen Retop LED, Tyans and Techrobotix.
InfoComm MEA 2013 is co-located with Gitex Technology Week taking place over 20-24 October 2013.
