Our Own English High School moves to digital with Allen amp Heath

UAE: Our Own English High School in Sharjah has upgraded the sound system in its auditorium to move from analogue to digital control.
The school was using an Allen & Heath analogue console and decided with the upgrade it wished to stay with the brand. The school opted for an iLive T112 desk and IDR 64 mix rack both supplied by local distributor VV & Sons and installed by Crown Star Technology (LLC)
The console is located in the main control room with the IDR 64 placed on stage connected via an AH 700 Cat-5 digital snake and the portability this offered was a major benefit for the school. ‘The auditorium technician is very happy as he can shift the mixer to any location without hassle thanks to the AH 700 Cat-5 digital snake,’ noted Crown Star Technology’ s technical manager Mr. Sabu John.
