Palme Middle East gets audio demo area

MIDDLE EAST: The 2013 edition of Palme Middle East will feature a demo area for the first time. The tradeshow will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 21st to 23rd May 2013.
As a response to exhibitor requests for a working environment in which to showcase their new technology, organisers Informa Exhibitions have created Soundcheck, which will be located in a purpose-built (and fully air-conditioned) temporary structure in the plaza area outside the Ibis Hotel.
Announcing the move, exhibition director, Richard Brook, said: ‘This will provide exhibitors, especially manufacturers and distributors of audio equipment, the opportunity to present their products in a live environment alongside the show. Taking this feature to a purpose-built outdoor environment means there’s more flexibility for exhibitors to show off what their kit can do with minimal impact on other participants at the show.’
Timetabled slots in Soundcheck are limited and each of the exhibitors taking part will receive one morning and one afternoon session on each of the show’s three days. The timetable will be promoted in advance of the show.
