Plasa Show names new venue and dates

WORLD: Plasa has announced a new location and a new place in the calendar for the Plasa Show in 2013. The event will take place at ExCeL London for the first time, between the 6th and 9th October 2013.
The 2012 event taking place between the 9th and 12th September will be the final time the trade show is held at Earls Court. Following this, the site will be regenerated into a residential and retail area.
‘After 21 years at Earls Court and Olympia, the time is now right for the Plasa Show to leave its current home. The organisation describes the move as representing ‘a major opportunity for the Plasa Show to expand its international audience and offer world-class conferences, speakers, associated events, demonstration areas and features’.

Located in the heart of London’s Royal Docks, the venue is within easy reach of London’s West End and is connected to Central London via the Jubilee line and three onsite Docklands Light Railway stations. International visitors will appreciate the proximity of London City Airport, which is just five minutes away by taxi, and there are great rail connections to mainland Europe,’ said Mr Griffiths.
