Pro Lab adds to stable

UAE: Dubai-based distributor, Pro Lab, has added a trio of manufacturers to the inventory of brands it represents. The company has taken responsibility for chain hoist and control manufacturer, Movecat, and trussing and staging company, Alustage as well as media tool software developer, Dataton.

With these three region-wide deals, the distributor has filled some gaps in its portfolio ensuring it can better meet the needs of its regional live sound clients. ‘Movecat and Alustage fit very well together and will be an important part of our offering going forwards,’ said Pro Lab general manager, Jan Tarakji. ‘Rigging is a very important part of the market and we are delighted to be bringing these premium solutions to the Middle East.

‘Also, due to the rapid demand for visual technologies in the local market we have decided to add Dataton to our professional package of audio, visual and lighting products,’ Mr Tarakji continued. ‘Watchout is by far the easiest, fastest and most reliable way to create spectacular presentations, from the smallest conference gig all the way to mapping the most famous buildings in the world.’

Following these agreements, the new distributor is looking to raise awareness of its new brands in the Middle East. One of the ways it will look to do this via training sessions and demonstrations of the equipment to show the benefits of these offerings to regional players.
