Prosound supports Grahamstown National Arts Festival

SOUTH AFRICA: South African distributor and systems integrator Prosound supported the recent National Arts Festival in Grahamstown with lighting and audio equipment for a number of venues, as well as providing technical services throughout the festival.
Prosound set up ETC LED Source Four Profiles and ETC EOS Consoles in Vicky’s Theatre, Guy Butler Theatre, Victoria Theatre and St Andrew's Theatre. Additional Colour Source Four LED Pars and Source Four LED Profiles were deployed at FOH in Vicky’s Theatre. The manufacturer introduced theatre technicians to the ETC GIO, ION and Element consoles, reporting that they enjoyed the flexibility the desks gave them to cater to a range of lighting designs.
The Recreation Hall houses theatre-style seating and accommodates a variety of plays, choir and dance performances. It has been equipped with an Electro-Voice sound system comprising TourX 1122 mid/high enclosures and SB122 subwoofers, driven off EV Q series amps and processed by a DC-One. An EV PV20 mixer at FOH is fed from N/D767a, PolarChoice and N/D478 microphones. Onstage monitoring is from EV TX 1122FM stage monitors.
Used to host intimate acoustic performances, the Graham Hotel was outfitted with Audio-Technica ATM710, ATM610, PRO61 and AT2020 vocal microphones and Prosound’s own GS-121CP Maestro speakers.
