Protec doubles Clear-Com inventory

UAE: Dubai-based rental company Production Technology (Protec) has recently doubled its inventory of Clear-Com equipment with additional HelixNet and Tempest systems. The purchase was made through UAE distributor for the live sound market segment, Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK).
Protec purchased its first HelixNet and Tempest systems towards the end of 2012, making it the first company in the region to invest in HelixNet. The additional Helix Digital Networked Partyline system and Tempest 2.4GHz wireless intercom system now enables the company to handle multiple events at a given time or expand its current system into a hybrid communication platform.
‘Protec’s second purchase of additional HelixNet and Tempest systems show great confidence in the Clear-Com brand as the best communication solution for A/V service providers,’ commented Chicco Hiranandani, business manager at NMK Middle East. ‘Being the first in the region to acquire the HelixNet system, Protec can now link up their base stations to create a 12 channel communication network on a single line. When a Belt station is patched onto this network it can select any two channels from the 12.’
