PST puts new L-Acoustics system to use

TURKEY: The recent Paul Anka concert in Istanbul’s Haliç Congress Center gave Pia Stage Technologies (PST) the opportunity to test out its new L-Acoustics system. PST is responsible for the sound, light and visual elements of all the events that are hosted at the Haliç Congress Center.
For the two-hour concert, PST used 12 L-Acoustics Kara per side for the main system with 16 SB18 subs used for low end. Added to this 16 112P coaxial speakers were used as stage monitors with six Arcs and four SB18 subs in use for sidefill.
‘We are pleased with the performance of L-Acoustics much more than we expected,’ said PAT sound technician Eyüp Öznaz. ‘This equipment is more than satisfying with their capacity of performance and resolution. We gained sound with the same frequency level and power, all around the concert hall and in every point.’
PST’s new system was purchased through local distributor Elit Light/Sound Technologies.
