Qatar Vision adds to inventory

QATAR: Doha-based event production and rental firm Qatar Vision has increased its inventory with the addition of a new system from K-Array.
The deal saw the company purchase a K-Array KR400S system through Sennheiser Middle East after hearing it at Frankfurt’s Pro Light + Sound show. ‘Sennheiser asked us to listen to a demo of the system,’ said Qatar Vision MD Sharif Omar Hashisho. ‘And listening to this system was amazing. I didn’t think that this was the kind of sound I would hear from this type of speaker, I didn’t miss any of the frequencies. I was really impressed.’
He describes the system as ‘ideal for our rental division to use in conference and wedding events’, highlighting its slim design as one of the main reasons for the purchase. ‘When you have bulky speakers it’s very hard to hide them, but with the K-Array system it gives us the opportunity to make the speakers disappear within the venue and at the same time deliver the sound levels we expect.’
