UAE: Qvest Media has named Thomas Müller as its new general manager. Mr Müller succeeds Stephan Seeländer, who is moving within the company group to Germany.
Before joining Qvest Media in Dubai, Mr Müller worked in management positions and in the project field for various media companies in the TV and publishing sector. As a member of the GMF4iTV research project he also actively contributed to the development of a pan-European standard for the broadcasting of interactive TV services.
The company states that ‘thanks to his project and management know-how, his distinctive communication skills as well as a high degree of technical competence, Mr Müller is an excellent addition to the team’. It hopes that his appointment will help ‘further extend the company’s range of services in the areas of distribution, consulting, support as well as in the project business’.
Stephan Seeländer has managed the company in Dubai since the beginning of 2009. Mr Seeländer is moving within the company group to Wellen+Nöthen in Cologne, Germany, where, as head of projects, he will be responsible for the management of the international project business.
