Riedel appoints Mohammad Hammad as Dubai systems consultant

UAE: Riedel Communications is continuing to expand its presence in the Middle East with the appointment of Mohamed Hammad as systems consultant for Dubai. He will be tasked with helping to define customer requirements, specify systems to meet those requirements, and aid in ensuring the smooth installation and commissioning of Riedel products.
‘Mohamed joins Riedel with impressive experience as an engineer having worked with the latest media and production technologies,’ said Ahmed Magd, Riedel's general manager for the Middle East and Turkey. ‘We are confident that he will hit the ground running and make an immediate and positive impact for Riedel, as well as for our customers in the Middle East.’
Mr Hammad joins Riedel after serving as playout manager for Egyptian satellite channel CBC. Prior to that, he held broadcast and engineering roles at CDC where he helped to design and launch three HD studios and a new master control room for the broadcaster. Prior to his tenure at CDC, he served in a variety of engineering roles for systems integrator Brainwaves Broadcast, and before that, also held engineering positions with the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU).
