Robbie Williams tour hits Abu Dhabi

UAE: Robbie Williams’ Let me Entertain You world tour recently visited the UAE with a performance at Abu Dhabi’s du Arena. The concert was promoted and produced by Flash Entertainment.
The performance called on a wealth of equipment for the audio, video and lighting. The audio side of the concert was supplied by Delta Sound. The main PA consisted of 12 per side L-Acoustics K1 cabinets with three Kara per side as down fill. A further 12 per side K2 speakers were used as outfill while eight stacks of two dV-Dosc enclosures provided frontfill. Low end was taken care of by six K1 Subs per side flown next to the main PA as well as a further 24 ground stacked SB28s in a cardioid configuration.
The delay towers consisted of eight L-Acoustics K2 speakers per side with support from four SB218 subs per side. Power for the system was via 18 of the French manufacturer’s LA8 Racks while system management was courtesy of Meyer Sound’s Galileo 616. Further equipment from TASCAM, Furman and Clear-Com was also called on for the performance.
The lighting side of the concert called on products from Clay-Paky, Vari*Lite, MA Lighting, Avolites and Gladiator. Martin Professional and Barco products formed the basis of the video setup.
