KENYA: The Commonwealth Association of Technical Universities and Polytechnics in Africa (CAPA) recently invited the South African Roadies Association (SARA) to attend its June 2016 International Conference. The event took place in Shanzu at the PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort with the key topic of discussion being the ‘strategic involvement of TVET institutions towards the attainment of post-2015 SDGs in Africa’.
SARA was given the opportunity to introduce itself and its initiatives to approximately 300 attendees comprised of delegates from universities and polytechnics throughout Africa. Having increased its education and training network at CAPA’s conference, SARA is predicting a greater continental presence at its own Live Event Technical Production Conference (LETPC) next year.
‘SARA extends its gratitude and respect to the CAPA executive board and its secretary general, Dr Olubunmi Owoso,’ said a spokesperson from the South African Roadies Association.
