SC48 mixes first Saudi event

SAUDI ARABIA: An Avid Venue SC48 has been used to mix an event in Saudi Arabia for the first time. The desk was recently purchased by Riyadh-based 3axes Est. KSA and put to use on the 2011 Energy Dialogue.
The first use of the console saw it directly connected to Pro Tools which allowed 3axes to do editing in real time and then played back according to the customer needs.
‘We've already a Venue in Saudi as a fixed installation, we are glad to now add Saudi Arabia on the Venue map in the field of events,’ said Avid’s Mathieu Rouxel. ‘The Venue ease to use, the TDM plug-ins integration and the direct connectivity with Pro Tools which is part of the SC48 package provide to rental companies new perspectives in terms of commercial offers.’
