Sennheiser appoints Yemen dealer

YEMEN: Sennheiser Middle East has appointed Best Casting as an authorised dealer for Yemen. The appointment has already had a positive effect for the manufacturer as it has seen a significant increase in revenue from the country.
‘By appointing the dealer we have already quadrupled our turnover from Yemen,’ said Sennheiser Middle East business development manager Ryan Burr. ‘We have been quite strict about the parameters and criteria we wanted them to be able to meet. I think that’s helped us improve our figures in there.’
These parameters include a minimum order and commitments to get the manufacturer into its target verticals, such as broadcast and installation. ‘For something we can do with a remote partner who is very well connected and who has a strong interest in our products, that’s excellent,’ said Mr Burr.
‘It’s a good positive development,’ added Mig Cardamone, business area manager for Sennheiser Middle East. ‘They’ve taken advice from us on which products they should have in the country. We don’t want them to take the wrong products to start with. There is no point in them buying the wrong stock and sitting on it in Yemen.’
