Sennheiser Middle East host K-Array demo days

UAE: Sennheiser Middle East recently hosted two demo days to highlight products from Italian manufacturer K-Array. The events took place at the Meydan racecourse during InfoComm MEA with the first day focused on installed solutions and the second on live sound.

‘We really love to do this kind of seminar to get closer to the end users and to be able to answer the technical questions and to show that K-Array is doing something real that can work in real life,’ said Francesco Maffei K-Array product specialist manager. ‘A lot of the time we have to remove the mystery that we have behind these small speakers.’

‘It’s important that people get to hear it, touch and feel it and ask questions of the product managers,’ added Sennheiser Middle East’s Mig Cardamone. ‘Having K-Array to support and show people all the other applications where customers have made installations with K-Array is great. Hopefully it will spark people’s imagination.’

The timing of the demo days was important to ensure the distributor could get K-Array’s products in front of as many interested people as possible. ‘We have to find ways to make sure we get as many people as we want to come along,’ noted Mr Cardamone. ‘We decided to do it during InfoComm because there are a lot of regional visitors and it is a five day show, so do you need to be there all five days – no. We’re getting people who are available to come during that time, but also the rental companies are very busy so it’s difficult to get them to come and spend the time.’

‘I’m sure we will do more seminars like this in the Middle East,’ concluded Mr Maffei. ‘At the moment it is more important for us to be at these events and in front of possible customers than it is to be at a trade show. It is better to have a workshop and invite only who is really interested.’
