Sennheiser Middle East increases team

UAE: Sennheiser Middle East has expanded its Dubai-based team with the appointment of Salam Askar as UAE country manager.
In this newly-created role, Mr Askar will be responsible for the UAE as a country with the existing partner that Sennheiser has. He will manage the pro and install channels and look at possible opportunities of how and where it can develop hand-in-hand with Venuetech.
Further to this Mr Askar will be very involved with the managing of third-party brands K-Array and SSL for the UAE. His role is fundamentally sales.
‘He has come to us from a sales role at Ateïs so has a good understanding of the install market. That is something we see as a plus point and something we are going to benefit from in the future,’ noted Sennheiser Middle East technical sales manager Ryan Burr. ‘Salam is an Arabic speaker too which will be very useful. When you are getting down to technical things, speaking to someone in their own language is very useful because they can understand it a lot better.’
