SGTC finds Q-Sys Core success

UAE: Super General Trading Company (SGTC Professional) has found a great deal of recent success with QSC’s Q-Sys Core line of network audio solutions. The distributor has seen sales right across the product range covering 17 different projects.
The Q-Sys line has been installed in a variety of projects ranging from mall extensions and hotels to government conference rooms and financial institution BGM systems. ‘In only five months we have sold Q-Sys into 17 different projects,’ said SGTC’s Simon Daniel. ‘Q-Sys is really booming in the market currently. My sales guys are doing an excellent job and the technical support team are working day and night. We are also getting excellent support from QSC.’
The projects have called on the Core 500i and Core 250i products with multiple systems integrators purchasing the integrated cores. ‘We have given proper demonstrations of the equipment to lots of places,’ explained Mr Daniel. ‘Q-Sys is excellent, it’s got everything inside and nothing currently beats it. It is taking market share.’
Some of the larger Q-Sys systems, including the Core 1000 and Core 3000 have also proved popular for SGTC with venues in Qatar such as the Samrya Towers, Four Seasons Hotel and Jazz Bar in the Regis Hotel opting for systems. ‘It’s good news for us, we have done really well with QSC,’ said Mr Daniel. ‘It is selling across the range which is very positive, the only one we haven’t sold yet is the Core 4000. My team has been excellent to do all this in such a short period.’
