SGTC Pro supplies multiple projects

UAE: Dubai-based distributor SGTC Pro has recently supplied equipment for a number of projects in the emirate. The projects have called on products from across its portfolio of brands.

The first installation was at the Bliss Lounge at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort. The project was designed and installed by Emirates Entertainment and called on a large volume of equipment from QSC. Emirates installed six QSC AD-S82H high output surface mount full-range speakers, a K8 two-way active speaker, a pair of KSubs and two QSC KW181 subwoofers. Power for the system is via three QSC GX5 amplifiers.

Following this, SGTC supplied equipment for a UDDJ Entertainment project at the 1,000-capacity Club Silk at the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Al Barsha. QSC was again selected for audio with four K12 two-way active speakers and six KW181 subs providing low end. On the visual side SGTC supplied eight Chauvet Q-Spot 260 moving yoke spots as well as BenQ 3,000 lumens and 5,000 lumens projectors. The project also required 500m of Kelsey Atmic cables.

A second project by UDDJ Entertainment was for a mobile stage sound system at Deira City Centre shopping mall. This mobile solution consists of two QSC K12s and a pair of K8 speakers. In-ear monitoring is via an Audio Technica M2 system while control is from an Allen & Heath Zed10-FX mixing desk. A pair of Road Ready flight cases completes the setup. The system is put to use on the centre stage and the sub stage for events and promotions at the mall.
