Showtech purchases Clear-Com system

UAE: Dubai-based Showtech Rentals has recently acquired a Tempest wireless intercom system from Clear-Com’s UAE distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK).
Showtech – described as ‘one of Dubai’s most active rental firms’ by NMK marketing manager Richie Hiranandani – reportedly opted for the system for its flexibility as the company is ‘constantly in and out of different venues’. The purchase includes a 2.4GHz base station, five belt stations and a number of CC-95 headsets.
‘For Clear-Com it is very important to have this market share,’ explained Ahmed Magd El Din, Clear-Com’s regional sales manager. ‘Tempest is still new in this region so this is a very good start.’
