Showtech returns to Global Fusion

UAE: Showtech was once again engaged to provide the full technical production for the recent edition of Global Fusion in the Safinah Ballroom at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The A/V solutions provider has supplied the event, which showcases a wide variety of musicians from different cultures, at various locations across the region for the past decade.
The sound solution deployed comprised a main PA of eight JBL VTX V20 tops, flown in an L/R configuration with six VTX S25 subwoofers. Serving as stage monitors were eight VRX915M cabinets. This setup was powered by Crown I-Tech 12000HD amplifiers and controlled via an Avid Venue Profile.
On the lighting side, Showtech implemented ETC Source Fours, Robe Spot 575 and Wash 575 fixtures, Claypaky Sharpys and PARs, as well as an MDG Atmosphere hazer, PAR 64s and a network signal processor. Control of the lighting was courtesy of an MA Lighting grandMA2 console.
Additionally, Showtech installed the box truss for the stage, which measured 16m x 4m x 4m. Also supplied were two Panasonic 13k HD projectors that beamed content to a pair of 180-inch screens.
