Staras invests in SD5

TURKEY: Istanbul-based rental company, Staras, has added to its inventory by purchasing a DiGiCo SD5 as well as Clay Paky Sharpy lights. The purchases were made through the local distributor for both brands, Asimetrik.
The DiGiCo purchase was made specifically for a recent series of concerts by popular Turkish singer Tarkan at the Harbiye Open Air Theatre. The production team specifically requested the console for the nine concert series leading to the rental house investing in its first DiGiCo product.
On the lighting side, Staras expanded its range of Clay Paky fixtures with the Sharpy purchase. These were again put to use for the Tarkan concerts as part of an extensive Clay Paky lighting rig.
The main PA and monitoring solution that Staras supplied for the concert series was from Meyer Sound.
