WORLD: SurgeX is to host a free training course focussed around the electrical protection of digital signage, A/V and IT equipment at InfoComm 2015 in Florida. Taking place at the Orange County Exhibition Centre in Orlando on June 18th at 10:30am, the session is open to all consultants, integrators and distributors interested in ‘learning about the fundamentals of electricity, power protection and ESP/SurgeX’s energy solutions’.
‘Energy intelligence is a broad term we use to illustrate the importance of monitoring and managing energy efficiently and solving power-related problems that occur on a daily basis, all while having premium surge protection in place,’ commented Shannon Townley, president of SurgeX. ‘At its essence, this InfoComm training course will be about identifying how energy intelligence can create sales opportunities for integrators while saving their customers money over time.’
The training is stated to include a comprehensive overview of risks and the impact electrical issues can have on a business in the worse case scenario. The seminar will also include a review of the energy management and power protection technologies available on the market, in addition to the ‘proper specification criteria for a variety of integration environments’.
