TechRig buys ‘world’s brightest projectors’

SOUTH AFRICA: TechRig Technical Solutions Agency has recently purchased what it describes as ‘the biggest, boldest and brightest projectors available in Sub-Saharan Africa’. The purchase was made with the assistance of Prosound.
TechRig has added to its inventory with Barco’s HDQ-2K40 and The HDF-W26 projectors. These projectors are the first of their kind in the country, and are described as ‘the world’s brightest projectors developed for the rental and staging industry’. Reportedly, one of the key factors behind the purchase was Prosound’s capacity to provide permanent, qualified and local support.
‘The emphasis on visual displays is becoming bigger and bigger all the time so this expansion by TechRig clearly sets them apart from the rest,’ said Prosound’s Donovan Calvert. ‘We’re proud to be the chosen support agents for TechRig, our experience with A/V and the Barco product is definitely a plus.’
