SOUTH AFRICA: TechRig Technical Solutions Agency has invested in its projection technology. The company has recently purchased Barco’s HDF-W26 and HDQ-2K40 projectors, reportedly the brightest projectors in the world, designed for the rental and staging industry.
‘Part of the industry demand is coming up with alternative solutions to standard visual communication and marketing tools. We constantly try to find innovative solutions for our blue chip clients,’ said TechRig CEO Michael Collyer. ‘In today’s communication space, online and television are highly informative and interactive, they are also very much the done thing, the norm and are tremendously overpopulated. So the question top of mind for us, what technology and solutions are available to set a brand apart?
‘The projectors allow us to create a new brand landscape and communication method,’ continued Mr Collyer. ‘Over and above the outdoor platform we can work effectively to produce visually enthralling 3D imaging for conferencing and events presentations. This is a focused targeted medium. It offers the capability of projecting multi-media at an unprecedented size and quality.
‘Having made the decision to invest in the two different size projectors the HDF-W26 being the smaller of the two, is a perfect fit for any large venue or event that requires extra brightness to show clear, crisp images in a luminous environment and the HDQ-2K40 the worlds brightest projector guaranteeing an unequaled event experience,’ furthered Mr Collyer. ‘Our mandate is in sync with that of Barco, we design and develop visualisation solutions for a variety of markets. This specifically pertains to the direct communication/marketing and brand building sphere that we form an intricate part of.’
