Techrig provides complete A/V for The Musketeers launch

SOUTH AFRICA: Techrig Technical Solutions Agency was enlisted recently to transform the interior of the Inanda Club in Sandton into a medieval themed village and its ballroom into an Amphitheatre-style cinema. The venue was the location for the launch of BBC South Africa’s Summer Upfront and the Musketeers series.
Co-ordinated by CLA Brand & Event Engineering, the event showcased The Musketeers plot and held presentations from the CEO highlighting upcoming programming.
To showcase the presenters, content and the Musketeers, raked cinema seating was deployed along with a 12m by 2.4m rear projection screen to increase audience visibility. The screen was powered by three Barco HDFW26K projectors.
The stage was framed by four ROI LED pillars, each displaying one of the series’ actors, and lit by Martin Mac 250 Entour and Wash, Martin Mac 700 Wash and Profile and Versa LED Ultra High Power 18RGB WAP fixtures. Audio was provided courtesy of an Alcons Audio LR14 sound system and 32-channel Yamaha LS9 mixing console.
