Televic delivers Middle East training

MIDDLE EAST: Televic Conference and its regional distributor Venuetech have delivered a pair of training sessions in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The events covered the manufacturer’s Plixus network technology and CoCon software and were led by Televic support engineer, Dirk Vanhoenacker.
The reason to offer these sessions locally was to make them more accessible to local systems integrators. Attracting a crowd of more than 50 across the events in Riyadh and Dubai, the manufacturer and distributor were both happy that this had happened.
‘Most of the systems integrators in the region have experience with Televic’s TCS500, Confidea wired, Confidea wireless G2, D-Cerno and Aladdin,’ said Televic’s Herman Geerinck, who also hosted the events. ‘Since Televic Conference has moved to the new Plixus network, the UniCos multimedia, Confidea wireless G3 and the new software suite: CoCon, the complexity of all these has increased a lot. Audio engineers at systems integrators need to have more knowledge about the whole IP environment. This will make them more competitive as well in a fast changing A/V world.’
Following the success of these two sessions, the manufacturer and its distributor are now planning to host more similar events across the region. ‘Seeing the great success and especially the enthusiasm of the attendees, we decided together with Venuetech to plan more of these training sessions in Doha, Kuwait, Cairo and Muscat,’ concluded Mr Geerinck.
