SAUDI ARABIA: Saudi Aramco’s Al-Midra complex has been equipped with a conferencing solution from Televic. The installation was handled by Enpro, the manufacturer’s partner in the Eastern Province.
The ‘intelligent building’ has had three of its conference rooms equipped with the Televic solution. Enpro installed 90 Confidea Wired discussion units and TCS2500 all in one panels into the rooms. Added to this was a video conferencing solution from Polycom which has been integrated with the Televic offering.
In other news, the Belgian manufacturer has established a strategic alliance with webcasting specialist Company Webcast BV in the Netherlands. This alliance results in an extension of the Televic Conference offering, adding cloud-based webcasting to its conferencing solutions.
‘More and more of our customers are looking for ways to record, archive and share the proceedings of their meeting, including speaker data, video and presentations,’ said Bart Deschodt, general manager of Televic Conference. ‘This alliance allows us to build powerful solutions, created through the synergy of both our companies’ field of expertise.’
Iwan Lawerman, managing director of Company Webcast added: ‘We are very proud of the agreement we have signed with Televic to offer webcasting as a strategic solution within the Televic portfolio. The agreement fits perfectly within the overall Company Webcast strategy to further globalise its very successful webcasting business that has already proven to be a great success in Benelux. We have great confidence that Televic can play a big role in this strategy.’
