Televic licenses Dante

WORLD: Televic Conference has entered into a license agreement with Audinate for the Dante audio networking solution. uniCOS, Televic’s new multimedia conferencing system, will be the first platform from the manufacturer to feature a Dante interface.
‘We see a growing need with our customers to interface their conference system digitally with third party equipment,’ said Bart Deschodt, general manager of Televic Conference. ‘We are excited to integrate Dante in our new products, not only because of its performance but also because Dante has become the standard in digital audio networking.’

The new uniCOS multimedia conferencing system is the first platform that Televic introduces with a Dante enabled interface. As Televic’s equipment is often installed in simultaneous interpretation applications with many languages, it is a real asset that Dante can accommodate a high number of channels. In those applications, Dante will eliminate a lot of interface equipment and will simplify integration significantly.
