The Venue adds DAS

UAE: Royal Catering has upgraded the audio system at its Yas Island multi-functional events hall, The Venue, by adding a DAS Audio system to its outdoor space. The solution was supplied and installed by Dubai-based distributor, Procom ME.
The new solution consists of around 20 Artec 508 compact speakers with a single 8C woofer and M-34 compression driver for highs. The system was designed for short throw and high dispersion to accommodate the outdoor mezzanine space. ‘Royal Catering’s commitment to a great guest experience puts emphasis on the sound systems it deploys at its venues,’ said Hussein Hamieh general manager for business development and outlets at Royal Catering. ‘Despite the short notice, Procom’s team delivered the venue on time with excellent execution.’
The Venue’s new system helps to support its multi-functional nature allowing for background music, live performances and club music. It was installed in time for the recent Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix where The Venue’s terrace, which overlooks the circuit, hosted guests for a VIP Formula One experience.
