Thomsun finds success with CL Series

UAE: Thomsun Trading has seen some notable success with Yamaha’s new CL Series mixers. The local distributor has recently achieved its first sale of the CL1 console and offered technical support for the use of the CL5 at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival at the Emirates Palace Hotel.
The first sale of the CL1 desk was to Glow Productions. The Dubai-based rental company invested in two of Yamaha’s new digital consoles and have since put them to use at FOH and monitors on two back-to-back events covering Bollywood and African music.
For the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, a team from Thomsun provided technical support over the 10-day period at the Emirates Palace Hotel. ‘The hotel is an important client, we have supplied various equipment to support them with events in the past,’ said Thomsun’s Biju Thomas. ‘We were hired as a consultant for the event with no only the service but the products as well. An event of this pedigree was good to show the console itself. We are very happy with how it went’
