TOA supplies Abu Dhabi Ritz Carlton

UAE: TOA has completed a project at Abu Dhabi’s new Ritz Carlton Grand Canal hotel and Resort. The manufacturer was selected to supply matrix and amplifier units for the project which was handled by local systems integrator, Zener Electrical and Electronics Services.
The project itself included 10 main hotel buildings, 88 individual chalets, 86 pergolas and various other apartments, a tennis centre and swimming pool area. These areas have been networked for PA, BGM, and integrated with the fire system for evacuation.
The project was already at an advanced stage when TOA became involved. ‘The speakers were already installed but the client wanted to go back out to tender for the matrix and amplifiers,’ explained TOA’s business development manager Ali Ullah Sabri. ‘It was a huge job for us. We supplied around 50 amplifiers to cover the F&B outlets, corridors and other areas of the hotel.’
TOA supplied a network-based SX-2000 system for the project as well as M-9000M2 digital mixers. ‘TOA’s SX-2000 has been selected taking into consideration the huge project requirements and product capability to expand as per our requirements,’ explained Ashutosh Arora Zener’s security and AV division manager.
