UAE gets first Marquis Dance system

UAE: Alibi at the Dubai Marine Resort has become the first club in the UAE to install a JBL Marquis Dance system. The installation was handled by Feedback.
Alibi’s Marquis system consists of a pair of MD49 four –way speakers, an MD 7 subwoofer and a further two MD55 two-way full range speakers. Additional speakers from JBL include two AC16 ultra compact speakers, two ASB 6118 18-inch subwoofers, six Control 47C/T-PL ceiling speakers, 14 Control 47LP-PL ceiling speakers and two PRX 710 10-inch powered bass-reflex cabinets.
Continuing the Harman theme, the system is powered by Crown DCi 4 and DCi 8 amplifiers alongside the manufacturer’s MA-5000i and MA-9000i amps. Control comes from a Soundcraft SI-Expression 1 with SI-BLU 32 channel card while processing is from a BSS Blu-100 signal processor. Additional control comes via a BSS Blu-8 V2 wall controller. The venue’s mic package is from AKG with a Perception wireless vocal set and a WMS470 vocal D5 set.
All cabling for the project is from German manufacturer Klotz.
