UBMS and IABM to host Broadcast Technology Workflow training

UAE: United Broadcast & Media Solution (UBMS) has announced that it will host the Broadcast Technology Workflows training course in collaboration with IABM. The two-day event will take place from May 6th to 7th at the UBMS Training Academy in Dubai. The course is open to anyone in the broadcast technology industry in addition to marketing personnel, product managers and technical employees.
The course is intended to provide an understanding of workflows and integration while taking into consideration changes in the market. The course syllabus includes 13 modules: Introduction to workflows; Introduction to converged technology; Integration and workflow support; Metadata; Media standards; Asset management; Planning and scheduling; Acquisition; Ingest; Postproduction; Delivery, Approaches to understanding requirements and The Future.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will reportedly be able to understand the key components of broadcast technology workflows, understand how the market is changing and how this impacts customer requirements, be able to work with different approaches to understanding customer requirements and understand integration and workflow support.
