UAE: Dubai-based distributor Venuetech has recently supplied two very different local firms with equipment from Sennheiser. On the broadcast side of the market, Se7en Productions has invested in a variety of mics, while rental company Spectrum Entertainment Services has also opted to invest in the manufacturer’s products.
Venuetech has supplied Se7ven Productions with six Sennheiser ew 122P G3 lapel wireless mic sets and seven Sennheiser K6 battery/phantom power modules with the ME66 short shotgun microphone capsules. Added to this, the production company has also purchased 10 HMD 281PRO single side headsets.
‘We have two fully equipped HD and SD OB Vans to cover major events, sports and live performances,’ explained Pierre Tabet GM of Se7en Productions. ‘Recently we’ve been chosen for a reality TV show that will be travelling all over the Middle East and some European countries; sound quality and performance is very important for that kind of production and this is why we opted for Sennheiser ENG and Shotguns.’
The second sale for Venuetech was at Dubai-based sound and lighting rental company Spectrum Entertainment Services. The rental firm has recently purchased a Sennheiser wireless IEM system that includes eight ew 300 IEM G3 with two AC3 antenna combiners along with a pair of A1031 antennas. ‘We were looking for a high quality wireless in-ear monitoring system that can work as 8-channels or can be split into two 4-channels,’ said Julien Beyrouthy, GM of Spectrum Entertainment Services. ‘Venuetech has supplied us with a solution that we used recently in concerts by Shaggy and DOV Amiel. We were very pleased by the system performance.’
