Westlake Pro publishes Andrew Scheps mixing masterclass series

WORLD: Westlake Pro recently hosted a mixing masterclass with audio engineer Andrew Scheps at The Village Studios in Los Angeles. The session was filmed and turned into a video series that Westlake has upload to its YouTube channel. The first of 13 videos is now available.
Mr Scheps is known for having engineered and mixed for some of the biggest rock bands, including Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Audioslave, Linkin Park, Green Day and U2. Comfortable mixing both ‘in the box’ and on large format consoles, he demonstrated his mixing workflow by deconstructing some of his current work using Pro Tools and an Avid S6 control surface.
