SOUTH AFRICA: Gene Novacek, president and owner of Enco Systems, Inc recently presented an audio automation workshop in Johannesburg. The event was hosted by local distributor Wild & Marr.
The workshop commenced with an overview of what Enco DAD consists of before illustrating how it can integrate within various aspects of not only the broadcast industry, but storecasting as well as audio and video playout for stadia, theatres and other venues.
‘Our week spent with Gene was very fruitful and he has injected us with a lot enthusiasm for Enco,’ said Wild & Marr systems engineer and broadcast specialist, Gustav Teitge. ‘Enco is extremely versatile and Gene highlighted many features and application concepts that make the system really powerful – this will aid us in marketing and selling the product better.’
‘This is the first Enco workshop we have hosted since we were nominated as a distributor earlier this year,’ added Andrew Sorrill, sales and marketing manager at Wild & Marr. ‘We were looking for broadcast automation software to complement our portfolio of products directed at this market and have been quite impressed with how powerful and versatile Enco is. They also have an exciting list of partners and networks such as CNN, NBC and Fox that utilise their audio automation systems.'
