Winners announced for InAVation Awards 2015

EMEA: Taking place in Amsterdam following the first day of Integrated Systems Europe 2015, the 9th annual InAVation Awards was hailed a ‘resounding success’ by the organisers and attendees alike. Amsterdam’s Gashouder venue formed a unique location for the event which recognised the best products, software and tools launched throughout the year as selected by 24,452 public votes.

The event is split into two main sections with technology awards given to manufacturers for the winning products in each category, and well as awards for the most impressive A/V projects conducted over the past year.

Notable Technology Awards winners this year included products from a wide range of A/V manufacturers. On the audio side, Biamp’s TesiraForté platform was named Most InAVative Audio Product, while Tannoy’s in-ceiling CMS 3.0s secured the award for the Most InAVative Loudspeaker. On the video side, Kramer’s Via Collage won Most InAVative Collaboration Product; Crestron’s 4k Digital Media Solutions was handed Most InAVative Video Processing and Distribution Product; the GS Series from Christie named Most InAVative Projector, and the Green Hippo Par4keet video player, Most InAVative Control Product. Extron managed to secure two technology awards, including Most InAVative Conferencing Product for its SMP 351 and Most InAVative Video Processing and Distribution Product for the DTP CrossPoint 84.

The Project Awards categories also saw strong entries from all corners of the EMEA region, and for the second year running an international project was rewarded – with Electronics & Engineering’s Singapore Sports Hub taking the prize. Additionally, Sami Nazzal of Jordan-based International New Technical Est was named Project Manager of the Year and Germany’s Publitec, Distributor of the Year.
