World Representation hosts Dubai Symetrix training

UAE: World Representation has hosted its first Symetrix training session in the Middle East. The session was led by World Representation technical sales manager Iain Cameron, who is certified by the manufacturer to carry out training on its behalf.
‘The idea was to present direct to dealers and installers to give them an idea of how they could integrate Symetrix into their projects as they currently stand,’ explained Mr Cameron. ‘There was certainly a lot of buzz from people going away from the training looking to evolve their projects into Symetrix. The Middle East is a priority for Symetrix at the moment, which is why I was involved in doing the training in the first place.’
Mr Cameron presented the entire Symetrix range during the session including Integrator, Jupiter, Solus, Radius, Edge, Arc Control, Custom SymVue, and accessories as well its Arc-Web iOS and Android control system. However, one of the main points of interest centred around Dante networking. ‘A lot of people are looking for better networking solutions for audio and Dante being the easiest one to implement at the moment that’s going to be one of the main exciting features,’ noted Mr Cameron. ‘Symetrix is at the front of Dante networking.’
Mr Cameron is pleased with the response to the first session and is already starting to plan further visits to the region. ‘It was a success overall and we are looking to do more of them,’ he explained. ‘I think the next one we do we will look to provide it along with CTS points as well which will hopefully help encourage a few more people to come along.’
