A battery-powered companion

Having heard demand for battery-powered wireless companion speakers from its network of dealers, Anchor Audio has responded with the Liberty AIR and MegaVox AIR. Both are equipped with the manufacturer’s AIR wireless companion transmitter and AIR wireless receiver.
Reportedly offering up to eight hours of performance time on a single charge, the two AIR systems also expand the wireless transmission range to over 45m. An unlimited number of the wireless speakers can connect to a single transmitter, with 100 channels operating within the 900MHz frequency band that limits competing signals from interfering and enables the increased wireless range. The option is also available to run the Liberty AIR and MegaVoz AIR in wired mode.
The AIR companion transmitter is also available to provide wireless transmission for the manufacturer’s Assistive Listening Devices, operating on the same 902- to 928MHz frequency range when connected and therefore supplying an ADA-compliant audio setup. In addition to the AIR companion system, the main units are also available with up to two wireless mic receivers.
