AD-Systems introduces the Picosub

AD-Systems has announced the addition of the Picosub to its AD-Systeme Touringline series.
The bassreflex subwoofer, equipped with a 12-inch long excursion neodym driver, is designed to provide low frequency extension in smaller systems using the Picospot, the iFlex6, or iFlex8 on top.
The 19kg Picosub can be used in two ways; active mode- with the Impuls D1 system amplifier, or passive mode- using the internal crossover. In this mode just one D1 Amplifier can drive a stereo system. The Picosub reportedly produces 125dB SPL when driven by the Impuls D1, and features 650W continuous power handling.
The subwoofer is intended for fixed installations, conference rooms, restaurants and TV stations.
