AMX targets smaller applications with the Enova DGX 8

With the Enova DGX 8 digital media switcher enclosure (known as the DGX 8), AMX is addressing the needs of smaller installations. The device functions as the centrepiece of a complete integrated solution that manages and distributes analogue and digital audio, as well as video, including HDMI/HDCP, control and Ethernet.
The cost effective unit takes on the same functionality found in the brand’s DGX 16 and DGX 32, including an integrated NetLinx controller and redundant power supplies. It also boasts the ability to be populated with Enova DGX video input and output boards and includes optional audio insert/extract boards for a maximum matrix of 8x8.
The Enova DGX 8 includes an 850W power supply, and as the same input and output boards are compatible with all three Enova DGX models (8, 16 and 32), designing, ordering and using all three models is made simple.
The manufacturer also recently announced that its Enova DGX 16 and 32 enclosures have been upgraded with enhanced 850W and 1,200W redundant power supplies. The additional on demand power will allow these enclosures to power even more DXLink devices remotely using AMX Power over DXLink.
