Audac’s Ateo speakers promise ‘record-time’ installation
Published: PRODUCTS

With its Ateo loudspeaker series, Audac is promising to offer ‘record-time installation and setup’. Specifically targeted towards fixed install indoor applications, the series can be applied to a number of modern residential environments, as well as retail stores, pubs, restaurants and clubs.
Available in black or white, the Ateo 4 has a 1-inch dome tweeter and a 4-inch mid/low frequency driver, and employs a specially designed mounting bracket using Clevermount technology.
As its promise of a quick installation is key to its appeal, it follows suit that it is easy to mount and connect. All a user need do is attach the included metal wall plate to the desired location. Once mounted, the wires can be connected to the desired terminal of the custom connection block.
The desired power tap for 100V or 8-Ohm can be selected by picking the right terminal. After this, a user simply clicks the speaker into place, and by removing the front logo, the incline can be adjusted and the speaker rotated for a horizontal installation.
