Audacs revolutionary new stereo loudspeaker system

Audac’s new ‘revolutionary’ LX523 is a three-way stereo loudspeaker system consisting of an active and passive loudspeaker.

It can be used in combination with a WP523 remote wall mixer or the RM523 web based input control unit.

The manufacturer is referring to its new system as ‘revolutionary’ on the basis that a user can choose between using a wallpanel or a remote controller unit to transfer audio signals, control volume, and perform the equalisation of the sound system. Both of these options can cover distances of up to 300m whilst carrying several audio signals at once over Cat-5 cable.

The integrated website of the RM523 control unit allows a user to control the four stereo line and the balanced microphone input from any device with a web browser, with no additional software needed. Meanwhile priority settings included on the microphone channel enable users to suppress playing sources when in use.

The WP523 wallpanel features a stereo RCA line input together with a balanced XLR microphone input that can be mixed, and includes a limiting system that eliminates distortion and the possibility of the occurrence of phantom power. An optional wallpanel can be installed to control the signal routing and volume level from one or multiple fixed locations.

A further control option for the LX523 is via an iPhone/iPad controlling application.
