B&C broadens its range of high frequency driver

Loudspeaker component manufacturer, B&C, has launched the DE14 and DE14TN high frequency drivers as a natural progression to the 1-inch exit ferrite DE12.

The 60W (continuous programme) driver features an optimised phase plug and rear cap that improves frequency response with lower distortion. The new model comprises a 1.4-inch CCAW voice coil and polyester diaphragm, operating within a 1,500 to 18,000Hz frequency response with a maximum sensitivity of 105dB.

Another new launch is the DE254TN titanium diaphragm driver. This features a 1.4-inch diameter horn throat with a 1.7-inch voice coil. The 120W-rated (continuous programme) driver operates within a 1,000 to 19,000Hz frequency response with a maximum sensitivity of 106.5dB.
