C-Mark extends its range of coaxial speaker enclosures
Published: PRODUCTS

Shenzhen-based manufacturer C-Mark has extended its range of plastic coaxial speaker enclosures with 10-inch and 12-inch models, available in active and passive formats.
Finished in black, the polymer moulded cabinets provide portability and durability, and can be affixed to walls and suspended from ceilings both vertically and horizontally via integrated flying points.
The coaxial drivers incorporate a tweeter and bass diaphragm based upon one-magnet-dual-loop technology. Both the horizontal and vertical dispersion angles are set at 120-degrees, whilst HF feedback protection has been integrated into the rear speaker crossover circuit. The 200W RMS rated passive PU10 and active SU10 models operate within a 60Hz-18KHz frequency range, producing a sensitivity reading of 95dB(1m/1W) and a maximum SPL of 118dB. The 300W RMS rated PU12 and SU12 models can operate as low as 50Hz, whilst providing a sensitivity reading of 97dB(1m/1W) and a maximum SPL of 122dB.
A new digital amplifier has been added to C-Mark’s portfolio in the form of the DSP1200 model, which incorporates a 2×2 DSP processing module offering 24-bit/48KHZ sampling rates. A single factory preset is accompanied by 32 preset modes for user memories, whilst a maximum of 254 amplifiers can be operated remotely via the USB and RS-485 ports. However, the dual 20 LCD front display acts as a GUI allowing the user to observe readings, whilst adjusting settings and functions.
DSP functions include a 10-band equaliser, high/low pass filters, limiting, a noise gate and phase. The 6.5kg amplifier comprises dual 550W RMS channels in 4-ohm operation.
