Celestion has launched the CDX1-1445 low profile, 1-inch exit ferrite magnet compression driver, complementing the UK manufacturer’s existing range of compression drivers.
It features a 1.4-inch diameter voice coil, providing 20-watts of power handling, and is capable of delivering 106dB sensitivity over a frequency range of 1,500-20,000Hz. The CDX1-1445 has been optimised using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and comes as a single piece PETP diaphragm and surround.
