Cerwin-Vega introduces CVi series

Cerwin-Vega’s CVi passive portable PA speakers feature an adaptable system suited to support both live and recorded source material.
The CVi range, which has a power capacity program/peak ranging from 500 to 2400W, is comprised of the CVi-122M 2-way stage monitor, the CVi-152 15-inch 2-way full range, the CVi-252 dual 15-inch 2-way full range, the CVi-118S single 18-inch direct firing subwoofer, and the CVi-218S dual 18-inch Contra (inverted) subwoofer.
PEPT Film (Mylar) compression drivers are included in the design alongside a hemi-conical waveguide (80-degrees by 50-degrees). Crossover network designs are employed for coherent cross-band summation throughout the coverage pattern, while the low frequency drivers (cast frame 15-inch and 18-inch reflex loaded woofers) include two 18-inch transducers with 3-inch voice coils designed to cancel mechanical and magnetic distortions when driven to high SPLs.
Suitable for front of house and on-stage use, the drivers, crossovers and enclosure design are intended to produce lower distortion while retaining high SPL.
